Tollco is committed to contributing to a more sustainable society. That’s why we work continuously to reduce our environmental footprint in various ways. Each year, we offset the carbon emissions generated by our operations.

We take overall responsibility for the environmental impact of our business. Minimising our footprint is essential, and environmental management is an integral part of our daily work. The foundation of our environmental efforts is our Environmental Policy (link), which outlines the values guiding our environmental work and the direction we follow to reduce our negative impact.

Our credibility as an industry partner matters — therefore, we base our sustainability efforts on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Tollco has analysed and aligned our operations with the UN SDGs. Achieving these goals requires collective action, and we are committed to being part of that effort.

Moisture damage significantly increases the risk of harmful mould growth. Many substances formed during mould growth are hazardous to health and can cause allergic reactions. Our solutions create a healthier indoor environment for everyone living or working in buildings protected against water damage. They prevent mould, reduce health risks and eliminate the enormous resource consumption associated with repairing water damage.

Environmental responsibility is embedded throughout Tollco’s operations. We ensure that management and employees possess the necessary environmental knowledge. Suggestions for environmental improvements are actively encouraged and followed up. We continuously improve existing products and develop new ones with sustainability as a guiding principle.

Sustainable Cities and Communities

As a Tollco customer, you make an important contribution to sustainable development by preventing water damage in buildings. Remediation, demolition, drying and the use of new materials consume significant energy and resources.

Restoring an average water damage incident produces approximately 300 kg of CO₂ emissions — the equivalent of driving a mid-size car 1,500 kilometres.*

To achieve a sustainable built environment with healthy buildings and minimal environmental impact, it is crucial to design buildings where the risk of water damage is as low as possible.

Responsible Consumption and Production

Tollco’s Environmental Policy guides our choice of materials, working methods and manufacturing processes. Our products should be as recyclable as possible, and we never use materials containing substances harmful to health or the environment.

To ensure sustainable alternatives, all Tollco products are type-approved by RISE and approved by Byggvarubedömningen (BvB) — the same database used by Sunda Hus and Nordic Swan Ecolabel.

To minimise transport emissions, most of our production takes place at our headquarters in Knivsta or nearby facilities, reducing unnecessary long-distance transportation.
