Water alarms provide reliable monitoring of hidden areas

Tollco’s water alarms are placed in risk areas in homes and buildings to quickly detect leaks and prevent costly water damage. They react instantly upon contact with water, activating a clear audible alarm — and in some models, a visual signal as well. The alarms are available in several variants depending on the space, power supply and desired protection level. They are easy to install and function as an effective complement to Tollco’s broader water protection systems, such as leakage trays and leakage circuit breakers.

Product Series

Water Alarm 3V – A compact water alarm that provides continuous monitoring via internal and external sensors. It triggers an audible and visual signal as soon as it detects water and can be used with cotton or tape sensors. Battery life is approximately two years. The alarm can also be upgraded for use together with the Tollco Leakage Breaker.
Included: Water alarm, 2 external sensors (1.5 m), 2 × 1.5V batteries.
Water Alarm 9V – long lifespan (up to 10 years) A small and flexible unit that can be placed easily inside cabinets, pipe shafts and other hidden spaces. The alarm only activates upon water contact, giving it an exceptionally long battery life. Sound level is approx. 85 dB and includes a test button for battery status. Ideal when multiple alarms are required at low cost.
Options: External or built-in sensor.
Water Alarm 230V – mains powered with reusable sensors A 230V-connected water alarm designed for areas that require constant monitoring. Sensors can be placed under appliances, at floor heating systems, in pipe shafts or other hidden risk zones. The alarm provides a clear signal at detection, and the sensors can be dried and reused repeatedly. The outlet can still be used for appliances, such as dishwashers.

Installation & Complementary Recommendations

For best protection, water alarms should be installed in all areas where water can leak without being immediately visible — such as under dishwashers, inside sink cabinets, at fridges/freezers, floor heating systems and pipe shafts.

Tips:

Combine water alarms with a Tollco Leakage Breaker for automatic shutoff in case of leaks
Wipe the sensors (230V model) and reuse them after an alarm
Install multiple alarms in larger properties for complete coverage
