New Sales Manager at Tollco – Meet Jimmy Lindkvist

From plumber to sales manager – Jimmy Lindkvist’s journey through the HVAC and sales industries is both impressive and inspiring. In July, he takes over as Sales Manager at Tollco, replacing Jan Lindh, who will stay on in an advisory role until his retirement.

“It feels amazing! It’s like a dream, even if there’s a lot to take in,” says Jimmy.

Jimmy, 46, lives in Upplands Väsby with his wife and their four children, aged 9 to 18. When he’s not working, he’s often at a football or volleyball pitch – or in the car, driving to training sessions and matches.
“With four kids, there’s not much time for myself, but I don’t mind. I love being involved in their activities. I can’t imagine a summer without football.”

Strong background in HVAC
Jimmy has a solid background in the HVAC industry. He started his career as a plumber and later ran his own business. After that, he moved into wholesale, where he held many roles – including salesperson, sales manager, and key account manager. He has worked with both small businesses and large national companies like Bravida.

“I’ve climbed every step in the wholesale world – from store sales to Key Account Manager. That journey gave me a deep understanding of both products and customers.”

As Sales Manager at Robota Pumps, Jimmy led the sales team, worked on strategy, and was part of the management group. At Dahl, he was a Key Account Manager, responsible for some of the company’s biggest clients. He focused a lot on pricing, contracts, and communication.
“It was tough holding meetings for 580 salespeople, but I enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to doing webinars and similar things here at Tollco too.”

A new role with clear direction
A recruiter introduced Jimmy to Tollco – and the match felt right from the start.

“I wasn’t looking for a new job, but when I heard about Tollco, it felt like a great fit. It’s close to HVAC, but I also get to learn something new – like the kitchen industry, which is more complex than I expected.”

Jimmy joined Tollco in March and has been working closely with Jan Lindh to make the handover smooth. On 1 July, he officially becomes Sales Manager and joins the management team. He’s already taken on responsibility for customer support to help during the transition.

“My focus will be on improving our current business and internal processes. I also want to make our marketing communication clearer and easier to understand – whether it’s for a store salesperson or an installer.”

Clear strategy for the future
Tollco’s main market is the Nordic region, and Jimmy wants to build on the company’s strengths. Tollco is a market leader in leak protection for fridges, freezers, and dishwashers – but he sees big opportunities in other product areas too.

“We have products that really help people and prevent damage. They also help save resources in society. I truly believe in that. We’re going to grow, and when we do, I hope to expand the sales team as well.”
