Passive and active protection – Refrigerator, freezer and wine cooler
Passive protection
The refrigerator, freezer or wine cooler must be placed on a drip tray with raised edges so that water cannot run out onto the floor.
If the appliances are built in, they must be placed on a watertight insert.
Active protection
Sensors must be installed on the tray or the insert and connected to a water alarm.
We offer sensors with long cables that make it possible to place the alarm in a suitable location where it is easy to reach, for example when replacing batteries.
* Active products must always be used together with sensors. We offer several models and lengths.
