WaterFuse – Apartment: Protects the apartments from water damage.

WaterFuse – Apartment protects against water damage by turning off the water if a water sensor senses water. Humidity sensors are placed in the water distribution cabinet and under e.g. the dishwasher.

The product has two main functions:

• A sensor in the water distribution cabinet detects leaks and shuts off the water.
• The water detector detects, switches off and alarms if it notices a leak, e.g. under the sink.

Water damage and mold

A water damage in an apartment often creates large costs and discomfort. The costs are for decontamination and restoration but also for evacuation accommodation. The water damage often also affects the underlying apartments, which also need to be cleaned up. Unfortunately, it is common for decontamination and repair to take several months. After the apartment has been restored, mold in the form of dead mold spores can still remain in the dried material. If mold spores come free, they can be spread in the ventilation systems to other apartments in the property. This in turn can cause allergies and other health problems.

WaterFuse Apartment

If a leak occurs, the water ends up in the water distribution cabinet where a sensor is located. When the sensor senses moisture, the system will automatically turn off the water to the apartment. The external water detectors also provide effective protection under the sink and dishwasher as well as at other sensitive places. In the event of a leak, a radio signal is sent to the central unit and water is switched off automatically.
